Who this policy covers

This policy explains what information Cornerstone Orinda Concrete collects when you use our website, what we do with it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. We're a concrete contractor in Orinda, CA, and this site exists so homeowners can learn about our work and ask us for an estimate.

It covers the pages on this site, starting from our home page, and the forms on them. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies. You can read more about who we are on our About page.

What information we collect

We collect what you choose to send us and some basic information about how the site is used.

When you fill out our contact or estimate form, we get what you type in. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and a description of the job, such as a cracked driveway or a new patio. If you call or email us, we get your phone number or email address and whatever you tell us.

When you visit the site, our analytics tools record general information about the visit. That includes the pages you viewed, how long you stayed, the type of device and browser you used, the site that sent you here and your approximate location based on your IP address. We use this in totals to see how the site is working, not to identify you.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This site and its analytics tools use them to remember settings and to count visits, so we can tell which pages people find useful.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work if you do, though some features may not remember your choices.

How we use your information

We use what you send us to answer your question, schedule a visit, give you an estimate and do the work if you hire us. We may also contact you about a job we've done for you, such as a follow-up after the pour.

We use analytics information to fix problems on the site and make it easier to use.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for other companies' advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only when it's needed to run the site or do your job. Our contact form runs on an outside form service, and our website host and analytics providers handle site data for us. These companies may only use it to provide their service to us.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety, or as part of selling or transferring the business.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details and job information as long as we need them to answer you, do the work, stand behind it and keep the business records the law asks of us. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove what identifies you.

Analytics information is kept in summary form and is kept for as long as our analytics providers' settings allow.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, to correct it or to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. California residents may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we'll honor those requests where they apply.

We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request, so we don't hand your information to someone else. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, and we limit who can see it to the people who need it for your job. No website or online service is completely secure, so we can't promise that information sent over the internet will never be exposed.

Children

This site is meant for adults planning work on their property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our site or the law changes. The current version is always the one on this page, and using the site after a change means the updated policy applies.

Questions or privacy concerns

If you have a question about this policy, want to make a request about your information or have a privacy concern, reach us through our Contact page or call (925) 257-6590. Tell us what you're asking for, and we'll reply and work through it with you.
